QR Credit Note ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you use QR Credit Note, we may collect:

  • Account Information: Email address and authentication credentials when you create an account
  • Credit Note Data: Amounts, customer names (optional), creation dates, and redemption history
  • Business Information: Business name and settings you configure in the app

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we automatically collect:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
  • Usage Data: Features used, actions taken, and time spent in the app
  • Crash Reports: Technical information when the app crashes to help us improve stability

1.3 Camera Access

We request camera access solely to scan QR codes for credit note redemption. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.

1.4 Bluetooth Access

We request Bluetooth access to connect to thermal receipt printers. Bluetooth data is used only for printer communication and is not stored or shared.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality
  • Process and store your credit notes securely
  • Sync your data across devices using cloud services
  • Process subscription payments through Apple's App Store
  • Send important service notifications
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
  • Respond to your support requests

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Cloud Storage

Your credit note data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 encryption.

3.2 Local Storage

Some data is cached locally on your device for offline access and improved performance. This data is protected by iOS's built-in security features.

3.3 Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate the App (cloud hosting, analytics)
  • Apple: For subscription management and payment processing
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data directly in the App by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account
  • Export: Export your credit note data
  • Opt-out: Disable analytics in app settings

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment card information. For payment-related inquiries, please refer to Apple's privacy policy.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

7. Children's Privacy

QR Credit Note is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
